My love for craftsmanship started in the Cub Scouts, whittling hiking sticks on the trail. Over the years, that simple joy evolved into a deep appreciation for woodworking—transforming raw timber into custom furniture and handcrafted pieces that are built to last. There’s something transcendent about taking rough materials and shaping them into something beautiful, functional, and meaningful.

I believe in the importance of preserving what we own—maintaining our homes, repairing what’s broken, and investing in quality craftsmanship that stands the test of time. Thoughtful home repairs and maintenance not only prevent unnecessary waste but also enhance the way we live, creating a functional, beautiful, and lasting space that feels truly elevated..

At Utah Craftsman, my mission is to bring back an appreciation for hand crafted work,  and durability over disposability. I want to help people rediscover the value of true craftsmanship—where every piece tells a story, every project serves a purpose, and every home is treated with care.
